  • The Communications Vice Chair will work directly with the Communications Vice President to promote engagement in the community. Duties could include creating graphics, drafting email communications, and / or making website updates. Because of the expansive role of communications within political organizing, we are recruiting mutliple Comms VCs. The Communications Vice Chair(s) will also be eligible to serve on candidate endorsement interview panels.

  • Working with the President and the club’s appointed finance account manager, the Controller will assist with fundraising, monitoring our account and funds, and making financial plans and recommendations. The Controller will also be eligible to serve on candidate endorsement interview panels.

  • The Events Vice Chair will work directly with the Community Vice President to promote engagement in the club through organizing events. This could include mixers and bonding events, small to medium sized fundraisers, and Stonewall Young Democrats main annual event and fundraiser The Hero Awards. The Events Vice Chair(s) will also be eligible to serve on candidate endorsement interview panels.

  • Serve as a liaison for the club to the Los Angeles Democratic Party (LACDP). The Associate Member may serve on LACDP standing or special committees, except committees that authorize campaign funding, determine campaign strategy, or recommend endorsements. They also have the right to voice on the floor at LACDP Meetings. The LACDP Associate Member will also be eligible to serve on candidate endorsement interview panels for Stonewall Young Democrats.

    Love all things bylaws? Join the Rules Committee and help track and recommend new rules and bylaws to keep the club as efficient as possible.

  • Fundraising Committee

    Looking to gain experience in fundraising, community outreach, and financial compliance? This committee is for you!
